These poems were drafted and crafted in February 2010. They were put together on a typewriter, and taken apart in Microsoft Word. There is something about the aesthetic of the typewriter that lends a particular uncertainty and brokenness to my poems.
This collection was heavily influenced by poems I wrote for After The Sound Has Gone, an extremely limited-edition, hand-bound book that was a collaboration project with photographer Susie Whitaker.
